From his forge in Takefu Knife Village, Takeshi Saji creates some of the most distinctive knives in Japan. With decades of experience and a fearless approach to design, Saji blends traditional hand forging with striking, modern finishes.

Working in steels from classic carbon to R2 and VG10, his knives are famous for their Rainbow, Diamond, and Black Nickel Damascus and unique handle combinations. The result is knives that cut hard, perform beautifully, and stand out from anything else in the kitchen.
