Created by Takayuki Shibata, a pioneer known for redefining Japanese knife performance through collaboration, the Tinker series was born from a desire to build a no-compromise, high-performance blade that excels beyond the kitchen. Hand-forged by Takumi Ikeda and shaped and sharpened by Shibata-san himself, each knife delivers extreme sharpness, balance, and control.

Forged in Aogami Super, clad in stainless, finished with octagonal rosewood or cherry handles, and often stamped with the production date, Shibata Tinker knives aren’t just hard to get — they’re worth the chase.
